Dear Simone,

When my best friend in 9th grade told me, “It takes TWO, to be in love.” I might have misunderstood. I used to think it’s crazy because I’m in love with this guy and he doesn’t love me. But it doesn’t change how I feel. So, how does it take two? She used to tell me people in love means BOTH people are in love. Never believed it. Last night, I was watching a show and thought “How did i get so crazy in love with someone?” (It takes two). OF COURSE ! He gave me enough breadcrumbs for me to run with it. He knew that for whatever reason, he was on a pedestal. And he took advantage of that for YEARS until I finally let go.

I can’t keep him in my mind anymore.
