Dear Simone,

We always get lucky. I somehow decided to change my grocery list at the last minute or decide to do different recipes. Then a few days later there’s a recall. Sometimes I feel like I’m truly unlucky but then things like this happen…and I know, something or someone has my back. There have been several times where I was supposed to go for a night drive and for whatever reason decided not to. The next day I see on social media, someone died or was shot. Intuition or protection, we get lucky. Maybe it’s good karma. Or something protecting us. I appreciate it.
